Antique wedding chest
Hand crafted, in massive proportion, this handsome, antique, British Colonial trunk features brass strapping throughout. It also displays charming, heart-shaped keyhole escutcheons and pierced, floriform handle escutcheons on the lid. Notice the hefty, brass carrying handles on the sides. The later base was imaginatively hand carved with bracket feet in an intricate, floral pattern.
